Additional Details
Alfonza Wesley Davis was born in Pensacola, Escambia County, Florida and later lived in Omaha, Nebraska. He was a member of the Tuskegee Airmen. He was credited with 1 aerial victory plus 4 destroyed on the ground.
On October 29, 1944 he was piloting his P-51D Mustang #44-14465 during a recon mission when he was reported missing over the Adriatic Sea. He was declared dead on October 30, 1945. His remains have never been recovered. |
