Airman First Class Darryl Gordon Winters was born in Stanislaus County, California. He was later living in San Francisco, California.
In Vietnam he was a member of the 600th Photographic Squadron. On July 19, 1966, he was a passenger in a North American Super Sabre Fighter (F-100F) making a strafing pass near Tan An, Long An Province, South Vietnam, the aircraft was hit by hostile fire and crashed. His remains were not recovered. |
