Additional Details
On May 15, 1966, he was on the crew of the Chinook Spooky Attack Aircraft Gunship I (AC-47D) #43-49546 during a mission 15 miles east of Ban Muong, Savannakhet Province, Laos, when radio contact was lost. There were 8 American and 2 Vietnamese crew members who were aboard this flight.
His remains were recovered on March 11, 1997 and identified on November 24, 1999. He was laid to rest along with his crew mates at Arlington National Cemetery.
