Wieland Clyde Norris was one of the three sons born to Ray and Wilma Norris. He was half Cherokee and half Irish. His parents divorced and the children moved with their mother to Prairie Village, Johnson county, Kansas and then to Torrance, California.His older sibling was named Carlos Ray "Chuck" Norris. He is more familiarly known by his name as the actor Chuck Norris. All the "Missing in Action" films are dedicated to Wieland Norris. |

On May 27, 2019 the Honor States group was proud to be a part of our premier Memorial Day parade hosted by the District of Columbia and sponsored by the American Veteran Center. Together with Spirit of 45 and dozens of enthusiastic kids, the float and banner in tribute to the fallen at Normandy proved memorable and moving.
