William Henry Harff Jr was the son of William H Harff and Joyce E Inenfeldt.
He was killed while on LZ Swinger, 12 miles west of Polei Kleng Airfield in Kontum Province during Operation MacArthur during the Battle of Chu Moor Mountain.
His younger brother 1st Lieutenant Craig R Harff was killed in action while serving in Korea as a military policeman during the truce period. This occurred on December 28, 1968 which was 8 months later to the day of the death of William Henry Harff Jr in Vietnam. |
