Additional Details
Sgt Joseph Edwards was born in Eagle county, Colorado and was later living in El Paso county, Colorado. He enlisted in the US Air Corps in Denver, Colorado. He was stationed with a light bombardement group of the 9th Air Force in France and was an engineer-gunner on an A-20 Havoc bomber, He was a veteran of many missions over Germany.
He was killed in action over Holland while flying with the crew of a Douglas A-20 Havoc light bomber. |
