2nd Lt Donald C Lawry enlisted with the Air Corps in San Antonio Aviation Cadet Center, Texas on January 10, 1943. He was married to Dorothy Brunsell.He was on the crew of B-24 Liberator bomber #41-28615 "Ginnie" during a mission to Gotha, Germany. They were hit by enemy aircraft fire, then crashed and exploded in the North Sea near the coast of Rotterdam, Holland. We identified 10 casualties in our archive related to the #41-28615 incident on February 22, 1944.
