Additional Details
Sgt Eugene F Nolan enlisted in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia on May 28, 1941. He had attended Father Ryan High School and was employed in Gallatin as a retail manager. He was married to Mary F Jackson Nolan and they had a son, William.
He was wounded in action in France on July 10 and rejoined his outfit on August 5 after being released from the hospital. He was wounded again three months later and died of his injuries. |
