Basic Search Tips : If you can't locate the name you're looking for, try varying your search by possible alternate spellings (EG "Rob" instead of "Bob"). Enter the name in order of "First name Last name".
Scope of Records : Keep in mind that we only have names of those American Armed Forces Service Members who gave their lives during war time. Also, our records are limited to World War I, World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
Incomplete Records : Our data archive of honored warriors is extensive and growing day by day. However, we do not have all records available. For example, our listings for both the World Wars is only about 90% complete.
Data Quality Issues : Some information might have been corrupted or lost over time and stages of data conversion, including various degrees of hand written, punch cards, digital, etc. Also some names may have changed since the original records were created, or multiple names may be associated with an individual.
